Motility (ગતિશીલતામાં ઘટાડો)

In Ayurveda, decreased sperm motility is caused by Vata imbalance (affecting sperm movement) and Pitta aggravation (damaging sperm quality). Weak Shukra Dhatu, excessive heat exposure, smoking, alcohol, stress, and lack of nutrition reduce the natural ability of sperm to swim forward. Modern causes include varicocele, infections, hormonal issues, and prolonged sitting.
Ayurveda focuses on strengthening semen quality, improving sperm movement, balancing doshas, and nourishing reproductive tissues. Panchakarma therapies like Vasti, Uttarbasti, and Rasayana Chikitsa help restore motility. Herbs such as Ashwagandha, Gokshura, Kapikacchu, Safed Musli, Shatavari, Shilajit, and Yasad Bhasma improve sperm motility, vitality, and semen consistency. A warm, sattvic diet combined with yoga, meditation, and heat-avoidance enhances recovery.
